“You stopped the demons?” Giles said, wincing as she cleaned the blood
from his face.
Willow nodded. “It was awful, Giles,” she said quietly. “Torn apart,
spines ripped out...”
“Yes,” Giles replied, “I can imagine Spike getting quite carried away
once he found out he could inflict damage on something other than my
patience.”
“No, Giles! Books. Everywhere...” Her voice sank to an anguished
whisper. “We didn’t get them all when we emptied the library.” She
nodded sadly at his look of horror. “All the fiction from R to Z.”
“Harmony’s section,” Giles said through gritted teeth, vowing dusty
vengeance.
